Basswood Masonry is a line of Basswood Inc. The yard is at 1413 Basswood Lake Road, Sowerby, in the Municipality of Huron Shores — about five minutes from Thessalon.
The same office books the excavator, the septic, the fireplace, and the mason. Stone flashed for freeze-thaw, chimneys that are a real stack, and block that is plumb so the house can sit on it.
Wood and gas appliances are Basswood Fireplaces: licensed gas technicians and WETT-certified installers. This line builds the masonry around that work, and the masonry that stands on its own — Isokern, Rumford, veneer, heritage brick, and block.
We do not invent a century of plaques. The test is November: water out, joints that match the wall, a stack that is still plumb in April.
